Lisa D. Jones, MSc. Education and Special Education was trained in New York City. She worked in public and private schools for ten years before she moved to Sydney, Australia. While living in Sydney Lisa set up an educational consultancy called Paper Planes. Lisa’s role allowed her to work in and out of schools supporting families with children who were bright learners underperforming in school. She also ran an outdoor education program during school holidays called City As A Classroom. City As A Classroom linked curriculum-based topics and geocaching to encourage life skills and independence. Lisa is a former board member of SPELD NSW, an organization that helps adults and children with letters and numbers since 1968, Australia. She was the Company Manager of the High School Theatre Club in NYC. She is currently training as a Child, Adolescent and Family Psychotherapist (Left of photo).
Michela Di Mario is a Visual and Performance artist with a professional background in the art and theatre industry. Over the last six years, Michela has worked in therapeutic environments with disability art theatre companies, NHS adult mental units, hospice care, in hospitals and schools. Part of her role is planning and facilitating art programmes, curating art exhibitions, assisting and facilitating individual and group psychotherapy with children and adults. Michela has also been involved in voluntary work running creative workshops with a focus on visual and environmental arts for children in an orphanage in Uganda. Michela is passionate about helping others find their voice through art. She is currently training in a Masters in Art Psychotherapy. You may well be familiar with Michela having previously worked in partnership with Annabelle Hall at Club-tastic (Right of photo). Michela and Lisa are both First Aid trained and have Enhanced DBS clearance.
